What is Writers' Ring?
We are a group of students that workshop poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction. We work side-by-side with the author and give useful and non-demeaning feedback on their creative writing. This organization uses a typical circle workshop setting (currently over zoom meetings). We also publish works on this website that have been previously workshopped through this organization (author willing).

How we got started:
Originally, we were classmates in Dr. Fuentes' creative writing course (ENGL 235) that wanted to continue workshopping each other's writing. We started to meet up outside of class to do just that and thought: we should share this experience with other people. We realized that there were students that needed an organization to keep them accountable, as well as provide useful feedback, for their writing. Thus, Writers' Ring was born. Now, we are an official Texas A&M recognized organization that helps workshop creative writers.
